- The purpose of this type of study is to determine the fair market value of the company
not only in terms of the tangible assets (i.e. land, building, machinery, inventory, etc.)
but also with the intangibles (e.g. goodwill, franchises, patents, rights, etc.) and the
income-generating potential of the company. The study involves analyses of historical financial
reports of the company under study, operations of the company, plans and future developments
of the company, trends in the market and the industry in relation to the company, and

- The purpose of this study is to determine the highest and best-use of a property or its

for the investor or owner) and to render an opinion on the income value of the said property
following the recommended mode of development. This study explores the alternative uses of
the property, taking into consideration the current real estate market trends and economic
prospects in the area. This type of study is beneficial for:

(2) clients who are thinking of selling or buying undeveloped properties,
(3) clients who are planning to enter a joint-venture where the capitalization

- Valuation Of Intangible Assets
